I found in Sorriso all the qualities I was looking for in a border collie – he is incredibly intelligent, learns quickly, highly motivated to work, and at the same time, sensitive and loving. He has shown a natural herding instinct and enjoys retrieving; clearly, he was made for dogfrisbee! He is the perfect dog for me; no issue whether we spend a whole day at home resting or head into a busy city with noise; he handles it all wonderfully. Sometimes he still tries to act like a rebel and doesn’t always obey commands at first, but he quickly corrects his mistakes. I couldn’t have dreamt of a better dog than Sorriso.

Sorriso has been acting like an adult dog in a puppy’s body from the very beginning. He’s incredibly brave, not afraid of new things, and we’ve visited many places together (shopping centers, dog frisbee competitions, a sheep farm, a train station, Krakow’s market…). He has never had a problem with car rides, buses, trams; he just lies down and patiently waits for the entire journey. He rests well in various places; I can take him to a restaurant, and he’ll just lay under the table as if he weren’t there, haha.

I’m in love with this little boy. He has some of the same traits as Abbey (f.e. he growls so much and does a lot of spins while playing and running) and some completely different (like being funny also while “working” and taking games so easily… Abbey is very serious about playing) which I absolutely love. He runs fast and responds quickly to commands, although he was not the best at learning tricks at first because as soon as he’s seen food he was losing his mind and I had to stop him to make him think, but I learned how to work with him correctly. He’s very good with everyone… dogs and people, and is very open. He doesn’t really like close interaction with unfamiliar dogs, but if they don’t come at us he completely ignores them, which is great.
He saw sheep for the first time at 5 months old. He turned both sides naturally and responded to arm blocks for direction changes. When he was behind the sheep, he balanced naturally. He was exceptional!

Hauru at first surprised me with how different than Jimmy she is, but then she turned out to be exactly the dog I wanted, and needed. Beautiful, delicate lady on the outside, extremly driven working dog on the inside. She is a very funny little dog, full of happiness, very stubborn and sure of her genius, loving people and greeting them with hugs and kisses. She mostly ignores strangers, dogs, avoids contact. She’s the biggest kisser and hugger in the world to all the people she knows. And the biggest jumper just randomly out of nowhere;) She is full of silly ideas, loves to play with me, with Jimmy, also by herself. Settles down nicely, new places don’t make a big impression on her, she can work in any conditions and from the very beginning she has had a nice work ethic.

She is very fast, very energetic, very driven and intense. Doesn’t really care if I have treats, toys or nothing at all, she works for the work itself but also has a lot of food and toy drive. She has a million ideas per minute and sometimes does too much, too fast, but I think it’s a matter of finding a good communication way between us:) While in everyday life she sometimes barks, she never does it at work (unless asked to on protection training), she is not vocalising. Nothing distracts her at work, she is looking only on the human. 100% dedicated to the task – both in work when I tell her to do something and… in life when she has a ‘great’ idea of chasing a cat or stealing food from the kitchen counter;) A really stubborn, yet cute puppy.

On her first sheep herding trainings she showed a really nice instinct and potential for the future. Natural eye, very much into blocking every movement, going face to face with a stubborn sheep with zero doubts. While adding some pressure she is like “Pressure? What pressure?” so we’ll need to work on that;) On her first frisbee trainings she definitely showed us a very very fast, natural retrieve, an ability to track the flight of the disc and high execution. She is not a huge, effective jumper like her father, but is not afraid to do some jumping either and when she does, she has a good, safe, natural technique. I am curious what will she show in the future after getting some experience. We also started IGP trainings, she works really nicely in protection, she is very sure of herself and brave, a little border-malinois;) She can withstand a lot of pressure, whether it’s from a handler, sheep, or a decoy, she is very strong psychically, never gave up work.

Easy is truly a special dog. She’s the dog I’ve wanted for a long time. Beautiful, sensitive and stubborn at the same time, sociable with people (a little less so with dogs, especially small ones but we’re working on it!). She’s a hug pro! She hugs people passionately and then puts her forehead close to your face because she wants to be kissed. In agility she is what I wanted, she understands everything quickly, but without going crazy due to high nerves.
She’s a fast learner, rarely gets too much exited, and if she does, she’s able to calm down very fast. She loves people and she doesn’t pull on leash. No problems in our car trips, she sleeps all the time. When learning she switches from treats to toys without any problems.

She knows how to make you happy because she has a great desire to do everything for us… She is sociable with other dogs and people, she is unproblematic in the city center. In disc dog training she is always very focused and, in my opinion, she understands what the trainer says (certainly more than me) because she is always quick to learn. She also loves to hug, especially in the morning as soon as she wakes up.

Iris is a fantastic dog, she is tremendously cuddly and sweet. I have never had any kind of problem with her. She is very obedient and when we are at home she is very calm and never bothers us.
When we train she completely changes her character, she becomes euphoric and reactive especially if we do agility, when we train at home and I teach her the tricks in peace she is very concentrated and attentive and thinks quickly.
On the street she is polite but has the habit of approaching anyone who looks at her for more than two seconds to get a few free hugs. She is calm with dogs and never barks, neither on the street on a leash nor with other loose dogs. She quickly makes friends, she barks only when she is on guard and sees that a dog or a person stops for more than 1 minute in front of the gate, in short she likes to keep watch She loves swimming and playing in the water. She trusts me a lot, and if she’s afraid of something and I’m nearby to tell her that it’s nothing serious she immediately calms down. She loves to surround herself with people and be hugged. She is the best dog in the world and exactly what I was looking for for my needs.
