This week started with a spontaneous trip for us! Four different countries, 1300km, 13 hours behind the wheel… and we’re here, in Florence (Italy), to meet Jimmy’s cute fianceé after months of waiting ♥
Keep your fingers crossed for a bunch of precious puppies around the half of April 2023. We expect easy-going, versatile sport dogs with high drive, huge will-to-please, nice structure and excellent physical possibilities. Both parents excel in dogfrisbee and their relatives are also doing really good in it. Jimmy is a thinker and a jumper, he also has a great execution. Abbey is a fast dog who catches every disc, no matter how poorly thrown, not such a high flyer as Jimmy though. I believe Jimmy and Abbey will make a perfect match. They are high driven dogs which excel in sport but at the same moment sooo lovely and sweet in everyday life. They are a perfect combination of high drive, amazing physical possibilities and being easy to live with. Jim is a very stable dog with a great working ability, Abbey is also outstanding at sports and brings even more power to this match.
Meeting Abbey in real life was amazing. She is even more beautiful than on the pictures and I love her temperament. Always 100% focused on her owner, listening to the every word and ignoring other people, dogs, animals… Unproblematic in a big city. She is quiet, settles down easily and absolutely loves to rub her back in the grass. On a frisbee training she showed herself as a damn fast girl with a great execution. Not a type of a jumper on a distance. She beautifully reads and waits for every disc and has a nice, fast retrieve. This speed and power is something that I think will really compliment Jimmy in this match!
They both loved each other to bits when they met and quickly became best friends for running, tugging and playing. I also admire how similar in structure and movement they are in reality! In terms of the character – so much alike yet so different at the same time. Both loving to work, cuddle, both rather quiet and stable, but Abbey is one clever, introvertic girl and Jimmy on the other hand is that sporty handsome guy, who does a lot of funny things.
So… let’s make it official! Let’s all have our fingers crossed for those little stars in two months!

W środę, dwudziestego czerwca, zamiast spędzać kolejny dzień w mieście pojechaliśmy w góry. Gdzie? W Tarty. Na Słowację. Decyzja o wyjeździe zapadła dość spontanicznie, ponieważ jedynie trzy, może cztery dni wcześniej.
Według naszych początkowych planów, trasa miała wyglądać w ten sposób, ale na miejscu, będąc już prawie na samej górze, podjęliśmy decyzję o skróceniu jej dla bezpieczeństwa i zdrowia Jimmy’ego.
Ostatecznie nasza wędrówka wyglądała tak:

W rzeczywistości, po tym czasie byliśmy dopiero nieco za połową (aczkolwiek mocno spowolnił nas postój w schronisku oraz noszenie szczeniaka przez dużą część trasy). Całość przebyliśmy w nieco ponad sześć godzin.
Trasa jest wręcz spacerowa, przewyższenie rozkłada się na dużym dystansie. Na początku mamy do czynienia ze stromym podejściem, jakby schodami, ale nie należy się tym kierować, później trasa wygląda o wiele lepiej. Niestety od Sindl’ovec, razcestie aż do Tatliakovej chaty droga pokryta jest asfaltem, który nie jest najlepszym podłożem do spacerowania po nim z psami. Od schroniska do góry mamy drogę leśną, trochę kamienistą. Im wyżej, tym więcej kamieni, ale nie ma bardzo ciężkich momentów. Ludzi nie ma dużo, jedynie przy Tatliakovej chacie spotkaliśmy ich więcej, jednak zdecydowanie nie było tłumnie.
Wycieczkę zaczynamy spod dużego, płatnego parkingu zaraz obok wyciągu narciarskiego (na dzień 20.06.2018 było to 3 euro za postój samochodem na cały dzień), skąd ruszamy zielonym szlakiem, leśną dróżką, aż do głównego, czerwonego szlaku, który jest wyłożony asfaltem. Od tego momentu pies musi być cały czas na smyczy, lepiej też zabrać ze sobą kaganiec. Przy drodze co kilkaset metrów są ławeczki i stoliki, więc nie trzeba robić postoju “na dziko”. Osobiście wolałabym, aby trasa prowadziła przez las, ponieważ asfaltowe podłoże jest bardzo nieprzyjemne dla psich łap (moje cały czas wolały iść skrawkiem trawy obok).
Przy schronisku położone jest cudowne jezioro, (Kojarzycie te wszystkie piękne zdjęcia jezior położonych u podnóża gór, otoczonych lasami iglastymi? Właśnie tak tam jest!) nad nim dwie ławeczki, przy których można usiąść. Od schroniska odbijamy w niebieski szlak, do góry. Idziemy drogą bardziej leśną, wraz z wysokością wzrasta ilość kamieni. Cały czas widoki są nieziemskie. Niewiele ponad piętrem kosodrzewiny znajduje się kolejne miejsce postojowe, dla nas koniec trasy, bo z tego punktu zawróciliśmy. W naszym wypadku droga powrotna wiodła dokładnie tą samą trasą, którą przyszliśmy.
Była to pierwsza tak duża wycieczka młodego, szczeniaczek w wieku trzech i pół miesiąca dzielnie pokonywał trudności trasy. Na większych podejściach, zejściach i bardziej kamienistych odcinkach był niesiony na rękach w trosce jego o rozwijający się układ kostny (masakra, kiedy jesteś drobną osobą i przyjdzie Ci nieść dodatkowe 10 kg po górach, ale było warto!). Pięknie sobie radził, bardzo ładnie ogarniał wszystkie cztery łapki, nie potknął się ani razu. Pod koniec wędrówki padł wyczerpany, więc prawie całe zejście od Adamcul’i przespał w moich rękach.
Podsumowując…
» trasa jest bardzo spacerowa, ale od schroniska w górę nie nadaje się na jazdę rowerem, czy z wózkiem dziecięcym
» im wyżej, tym zimniej, warto pamiętać o zabraniu dodatkowego okrycia! Kiedy w Polsce i u podnóża góry w dzień panowały temperatury około 30 stopni, to wyżej wszyscy musieliśmy założyć ciepłe bluzy
» lepiej wziąć ze sobą pieniądze w walucie euro, w ostateczności w schronisku zdecydowanie wolą płatność w tamtejszej walucie
» można wydłużyć sobie trasę na kilka sposobów, np. przejść się tak, jak planowaliśmy na początku (pętla zielonym szlakiem przez Rohacske plesa) albo od miejsca, w którym my zakończyliśmy wycieczkę odbić na szczyt Banikov (2178 m n.p.m.) bądź Wołowiec (2064 m n.p.m.)
